Wellness IV therapy is generally well tolerated when it is medically screened and administered by licensed clinical staff, and that screening is the part many walk-in drip services skip. Every InnerWorks infusion is preceded by a health review, because IV fluids and high-dose nutrients are not appropriate for everyone.
Patients with kidney disease, congestive heart failure, or certain other conditions need physician judgment before receiving IV fluids or high-dose vitamins, and some protocols require lab work first (for example, G6PD testing before high-dose vitamin C). If a drip is not the right call for you, we say so and recommend what is.
Mobile services are convenient, and for some situations they make sense. Our position is simple: the deeper the formulation and the higher the dose, the more medical screening and clinical setting matter.
